Fax Congress: Stop the Surrender Bill!
 The Democrats Passed Their Surrender Bill in the House: Help Us Sustain the Veto!
House Democrats have demanded a U.S. surrender in Iraq. But we can still stop them.
The bill just passed in the House would cut funds to U.S. troops, block reinforcements and evacuate U.S. forces from Iraq by September 2008, whether we win or lose. And the purpose is to lose.
The bill will kill American troops and crush morale. It will tell the terrorists we have lost the will to win. It will tell our enemies if they just hold out one more year and kill more Americans, we will cower in fear and give the Middle East to them, and they will win the war.
And when they win, they'll come for us. Here. Our towns. Our schools.
This bill is called the Murtha Proviso – a rider to the Emergency Supplemental Appropriations Bill for FY2007 (H.R. 1591).
Turn up the pressure. Let the Democrats know what you think. Send them a fax, demanding they back down. They will have to muster a 2/3 vote to override the President's inevitable veto; but their next tactic will be to refuse authorization of funds for the troops, and we just can't let that happen.
Pressure works: fax them today! And also, call the U.S. Capitol Switchboard at (202) 224-3121 and ask for Nancy Pelosi’s office. Let her know how much the terrorists appreciate her work on their behalf. (And let us know when you call: it's important.)
Our troops are fighting and dying for us in Iraq. It’s time we started fighting for them here at home. Fax Congress now, before the vote.
